It takes courage to ask for help

The Justin Lefebvre Foundation helps to alleviate poverty by reducing the financial barriers for children from low-income families to giving them access to sports activities and education in the Estrie region, according to certain established criteria.

Family financial situation (supporting documents will be required) :

Once you have submitted the form, you must send all the following information to the following address: [email protected]

  1. Family gross annual income
  2. Parents’ income (to be sent separately)
  3. Supporting documents (e.g.: Notice of Assessment (Canada or Quebec), T4 from the previous year, Most recent annual income tax return)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Under 18 years of age.
  • Must live in the Eastern Townships.
  • Have proof of registration or payment in the various areas covered by the Foundation.
  • Apply on the form provided and according to the rules established.
  • Have a family income below the threshold established by Statistics Canada.
  • Proof of family income. Examples include:
    • Notice of Assessment (Canada or Quebec)
    • T4 for the previous year;
    • Most recent annual income tax return;
    • And any other documents deemed relevant to the application.

Selection

The Board of Directors of the Justin Lefebvre Foundation receives applications and each one is reviewed confidentially within 2 weeks. The following scholarships are available:

  • Maximum of $350 per child per year for athletic assistance.
  • A maximum of $100 per child per year for the purchase of school supplies.

Please note that assistance may be adjusted based on the number of applications received.
